Recently a committee of parents and educators joined together to discuss a revision of the current class ranking system for Putnam County. The proposed change would replace the current system of honoring only the top 10% with a “cum laude” honors system based on predetermined GPA requirements. We are requesting that parents complete an online survey on the current system and the proposed changes. This will aid the committee in determining community interest and student impact as well as provide data for the proposal at the May Board of Education meeting. The link to the parent survey can be found on our school website and also on our report cards which will go home with the students tomorrow.
